I agree with the two responses you have received. I am a 50 years old male with PD. I was diagnosed in Aug. 2005. My main symptom has been numbness in the arms at odd times.
In Aug. 2005, I was prescribed generic Sinemet 25/100. I spent a week at 1 tablet per day, then a week at two, then a week at three. In that third week, I had a similar experience of hot & cold feelings, nausea, paranoia, hallucinations, and the like. The on-call neurologist had me stop the meds. The symptoms went away within a couple of hours. I restarted the meds after 72 hours. I have been fine ever since that day. I did not lose any memory during this episode.
Good luck with this tough disease and tough medical decisions!
Regards, Jock.
