Saving cord blood

I'm new at this too and I am still working so I don't have a lot of time to do research yet, as important as it is.  I can tell you that I was donating blood plasma every two weeks until I was diagnosed and now I can't.  This may be simply because they don't know enough about PD yet.  I will respect the guidelines and we won't discuss politics.  I understand that the heredity factor is still largely an unknown,but it appears that both my father (age 81) and myself (age 58) may have both the familial tremor and PD.  That's one of the reasons that I am trying to contact a daughter that I have not seen since 1979.
