We're from Swanage in Dorset (south coast of the UK) so no Little Jem, you're not the only ones from the UK :)

Treatment at Dorchester county hospital (Thomas Hardy country) but no surgery available at this stage

I live in the country, nearest neighbor 1 mile away in the Southeast part of Missouri. I had my Davinci surgery and my IMRT radiation at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

HT at Urology Centers of Alabama

RT and Oncology at Bruno Cancer Center and Trinity Hospital

All in Birmingham.

My dad is another Australian born and raised...currently lives in S. Oregon, but had his surgery at Virginia Mason, Seattle, WA.

Sheldon, Vermont here

Sheldon Vermont is a big city of about 1,000 or so folks (and a few cows) 10 miles south of Quebec and 10 miles east of lake Champlaign.  You go almost right past my house if you are driving from Burlington to go skiing at Jay Peak resort.  It is not to be confused with the suburb of Burlington called Shelburne.

Surgery was done locally in Burlington Vt.

Hello to everyone. I am almost neighbours with JustJulie
I live in Kitchener Ontario just 60 miles west of Toronto. I was biopsied in May ( Gleason 3+3)
I had my surgery (open radical postatectomy) July5, 2007 in St Marys Hospital. The same hospital I was born in 58 years ago. I had a perfect surgery with perfect result, First post op PSA in December was undectable.
I guess I'm lucky but it shows you don't have to be in a major centre to get a postive outcome.

Hi Just Julie:  As you can see from the replies to your post, we're a "motley crew," in terms of geographics, but a well-organized crew in terms of sharing our experiences with this PCa thing. 

Keep coming back here.  It's a place where you can receive and share valuable information.

We live in the very northeast corner of Washington State, close to the Idaho/Canadian border. I had my surgery at the local 25 bed hospital (Mount Carmel Hospital) and it was done by the local urologist, Dr. Kitagawa.
I think we made a great choice to stay local, with the support of family the prayers of our friends and neighbors.

From Evanston, IL, my college home town of Northwestern University, and had my open RRP surgery in Chicago at Northwestern Hospital by William Catalona.

Hi everyone: My husband and I live in the real north. We are 4 hours north of Sudbury Ontario, Canada. Boy we get cold winters here. Sometimes temps. as low as -40c at night and at times -30c days. This winter, not too bad. Lifeline

Lifeline - you really are from the Great White North!

My map is getting quite colourful - although I wish I didn't have to colour in another state or province, it's been an eye opening experience to see just how wide spread this forum is.  Well done friends, it just proves that neither prostate cancer no friendship has any boundaries.

PSA 7.7 but a rapid rise and my third biopsy since 1997
Notified last night by Urologist that my 1/10/08 Biopsy was positive. Scheduled for bone scan tomorrow AM

Another here from the Great Northwet, State of Washington. I live in Lynnwood, just north of Seattle and travelled all the way to Loma Linda CA for Proton treatment.

May I ask you how do know that both nerves were spared?

These nerves are so small they are difficult to see with the human eye and somewhat (10X) easier to see wioth DaVinvi.  I'm not sure how a URO can positively say the nerves are spared!  Can you help me with this please?
