I live in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, a suburb of the Twin Cities. My DaVinci surgery was performed at University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital.

Good question Geon!  They did use the robot to do the surgery.  The Surgeon "said" that the prostate was removed and both nerves were spared.  Other than that who knows what all was removed, spared or saved?  They may have removed some other organs for all I know!!  I do not claim to be a doctor and have very little confidence in doctors.  I was lied to and jerked around by 3 other doctors before I found this one.  Things were beginning to "work" with the aid of Viagra, however with the lack of patience that I have, I made the choice to go with the TriMix on occasion too.

Live in Dallas/Fort Worth area and travelled to Austin, Texas (3 hours trip) for DaVinci Robotic Surgery even though there are two hospitals within 20 minutes drive from where I lived is performing this type of operation. Surgery done at Westlake Hospital by Dr Randy Fagin who has a resume of performing over 200 DaVinci procedures per year with a total of over 1200 of these procedures.

Am I the only one from New Jersey? External beam and HDR brachy at Morristown Memorial Hosp in Morristown, NJ, but now feel more comfortable seeing oncologist at M.D. Anderson in Houston every few months.

We live in the foothills of the Blue Mountains area of Western Sydney, NSW, Australia. Our treatment centre is St Vincent's Prostate Cancer Clinic, St Vincent's Private Hospital, Darlinghurst (Sydney) Australia. We would definitely love to travel to the US and Canada one day!

Little Jem, I was just in York for my birthday (went to England for a vacation just before surgery). I'm moving to England when I retire in two years -- hence my online name.

I hail from and still reside about 80Klms (50mls) south of Sydney, Australia. RP by DaVinci and like creed_three had it done at St Vincent's Prostate Cancer Clinic, St Vincent's Private Hospital, Darlinghurst (Sydney). Surgeon was Dr Ravi Kooner.

Regardless of the results of my next PSA in two weeks, I can still throw rocks at (PianoMan) Tom...'til this weekend when I am flying over the South to Jacksonville. You never know where the plane may stop...

JustJulie, if you still have your map up, you can also add a Buckeye. I live in Columbus, Ohio and will be celebrating two weeks of prostate-free existence tomorrow. I had robotic surgery performed at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.
