Good luck...I just had the Da Vinci on 4/8 and it wasn't that bad for my first, ever surgery. The catheter hurt a little while walking and moving. Family support help a lot.
Make sure you take your Easy Lax and bladder spasm pills. Those really help me. My cath was removed 4/18 and things are pretty good. Just remember not to over do it.
