Nobody wants to hear the dreaded words, 'You've got prostate cancer', but 1 in 6 of us men eventually join that exclusive club (even Bill Gates's and Warren Buffett's combined wealth can't buy you a membership)
Prostate cancer has been a part of my vocabulary for two years. It has changed my perspective on life and improved my vision. Minor irritations and frustrations seldom bother me the way they used to. I'm learning to speak the language of the heart more fluently. I pay more attention to relationships and take them less for granted. Every day is a gift.
While we've all joined this club not by choice, the benefits of membership can be incalculable. (The hardest arithmetic to master is that which enables us to count our blessings--Eric Hoffer)
