A question about Lupron, Casodex and sex

I had a lupron shot exactly one month ago and have been taking one tablet of Casodex a day for the same length of time.  My wife and I decided to try and fool around just a little while ago, to my surprise everything worked.  I achieved an erection and actually was able to ejaculate.

In most instances I wouldn't be posting this in a public forum but I'm concerned that the medications aren't working.  Has anyone had any experience with this timeline and what have the results been.

I'm taking the meds to attempt to shrink the tumor down and bring my PSA down before I have HDRT and follow that up with IMRT.

Any responses would be appreciated.

Hi Dave,
I had some functionality after surgery. But after one year on Lupron/Casodex there is no libido and full ED. It started about 5-6 months into the HT.

Dave one of the reasons they give Casodex is for the flare effect of Lupron. I to was able to get strong erections and ejaculate shortly after surgery, however I just had my third Lupron shot in March and now I to have zero libido and I am impotent. Fighting this disease is a mind game and without the love and support of family and friends it can be tough. I pray that you have a great support system.
