going back to the hospital for scans and test

I will be heading back to The Cancer Treatment Center of America Sunday for three days of testing and blood work. The last time I was there I met a friend that had similar cancer to mine, he is 45 and his cancer is spreading rapidly and his wife says he is loosing hope. Please offer him up in your prayers, and I will keep the forum updated as to my results. You guys are awesome, I look forward to my daily postings.

livin:  Which center do you go to ?  I recently went down to the Tulsa clininc and was really impressed, they were great people.

Thanks Dave, I go to Zion IL and it to is an impressive facility. I am involved in their Cancer Fighter program, as well as my own livin a dream ministry.My last psa was 0.1, and I am hoping it stays there, I figure I already have it in the lymph nodes so anywere else it goes would be bad.

The testing is always a stressful time - we're waiting and praying for a good result right along with you.  Please give our best to your friend.

This forum is awesome. I am going to call my friend tonight to let him know how many people actually do care. Being a cancer patient and caregiver can be a lonely battle at times, it is always comforting to come here and share thoughts, dreams, and emotions.

I live in TN, and I will be going to the hospital in Zion IL.
Thanks to all for the support. Being a gleason 9, it gets a bit anxious having these psa test. Well I suppose it does no matter what stage your cancer is.

Good luck and success with your upcoming tests. Let your friend know there are people worldwide who have him in their thoughts and are pulling for him.

Hi Dale,

Your friend is lucky to have met a dynamic person like yourself.  My prayers are with him this Holiday Weekend.  I hope your family is able to travel with you for this long trip.  Check out the contruction work on the expressways.  Two seasons in Chicago Winter and Road Construction. All the best on your results...
