I believe that the MRI is just to make sure things are aligned correctly for the radiation, so from our experience anyways, it is typical that you don't hear anything for that particular MRI. My father has not had another PSA since starting the HT. I thought they should, but who am I!?
They probably want to have the most accurate baseline PSA prior to your Uncle's radiation. I don't think there is anything to worry about
. It all sounds like standard protocol. My father has his first PSA following radiation in about
2 months. It is so easy to worry, I definitely know, but this forum is great for putting some of those worries at ease. HW has saved me from a lot of sleepless nights. Try to stay positive and we will keep you and your uncle in our thoughts and prayers.
Hopefully, both our loved ones will have undetectable PSA's. Hang in there!!
