Sorry to hear of this setback but I don't doubt that you'll attack this with the same determination, vigour and positive frame of mind you had when you dealt your PCa. You will be in my thoughts and have my best wishes for yourself and your family in this new battle. Keep us all posted.

  Just checked the site, hang in there, I can't loose a Motorcyle riding, prostate less, riding buddy. There aren't a whole lot of us out there. In my daily "talks" with the Man I will include you every day until your cured.

Keep up the good fight and we will all be in your corner and on the boat with you. We may need a bigger boat with everyone that wants to row.

Do you have any diagnostic info yet, cell type?, single or multiple sites? There are many options based on these factors, hang in there and keep us updated, we are all in your corner.

Hello, this is Kitt and I am so very sorry to hear your news,  you will be in my prayers.  My hubby is having his biospy of Prostate on 6/25 so I have been reading through the forum from time to time. 

My prayer for you:

"Dear Lord, Please help Jim during this time of need and I prayerfully ask for a miracle of healing and recovery."

I just learned of your new circumstance.  You are such a great addition to this site as so many have said.  I know many feel like you are like extended family.  Stay with us through this.  I am sure there are many amongst us that can help you research what ever comes down the pike.

Jim, I was stunned to read your post tonight, and wanted you to know that we will also put you in our special prayers. You beat Pca, and I know with God's help you can beat this new problem. Life sure can throw us unexpected curve balls when we are not looking. Fight hard, we will all be right along side of you as you continue this new journey.

Sorry to hear that you too have to deal with a second cancer. I hope you'll get a good treatment plan. We're thinking of you.

Until recently, I had never really thought of the possibility of getting two cancers. It's shocking, and I thought it more difficult to deal with than 'just' prostate cancer.

B.t.w. have you found any documents/articles on how prostate cancer is influenced by other cancers? We're told that e.g. chemo therapy for colon cancer does not influence hormone treatment for prostate cancer. That's nice to know, but I still have difficulty believing that one cancer does not influence the other. Please let us know whether your specialists have discussed this with you. Take care, Dutchy

Jim, I've been away from the forum for awhile, so just read your post.  Like all your friends here, I'm really saddened

by the news, but confident that you will bring the same toughness, resourcefulness and hopefulness that we know you for.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your lovely wife.  Hang in there!

Hey Folks,

I saw the pulmonologist today and got the results of the PET scan and lung biopsy. We have caught this thing in its earliest stage and I will see the surgeon next Monday to set a date for surgery. Looks like I dodged the bullet - again. I updated "Jim's Space" with more details.

Lets all get well together...
