Hi
Kenny,
In the early days (LRP surgery last Summer 2007), I just immersed myself in work, family, and service to others. Those activities kept me very busy and that really helped.
My wife and daughter, soon after my diagnosis and surgery, had some health problems as well, so I was able to forget my own problems while helping them. Part of that help was doing the grocery shopping for my wife. Today, I actually enjoy doing grocery shopping alone and using that as an escape.
My favorite escape, ever since I was diagnosed last June, has been going to movies with my daughter or son. That has been terrific.
Thanks for asking.
