Bill, you spoke your mind and I do respect that. As it turns out my feelings yesterday were just a bit blue for my selfish reasons, but I needed the input of all of you to get straightened out. When you consider what Les and Walt heard today, my day was not so bad at all. I know our friends need us more than ever. In fact we all have to stick together. I need you guys just like Les, David, Walt, and so many others need us right now. But they need us more at this time so what you said was just true. There is no harm. I am a simple man, too.  We have to fight what can lead to depression and today is a bigger challenge.  Cancer Sucks!

Sorry I missed your birthday, but a Happy Belated Birthday to you. I know how you feel about missing your Mom. I lost both my parents when I was in my early 40's. It was difficult and I often found myself "talking" to them, which gave me great comfort. It just did not seem possible that they were gone. I know your Mom is with you now and looking down on you with love and pride. This cancer journey is incredibiliy difficult and to have your support and the support of others on this board is a blessing to us all. I am thankful for all your input Tony and appreciate all that you share with us. I am inspired by your spirit, and caring ways. I come and go on this board, as I keep busy tending to my husband and trying to may his life easier in any way I can. Cancer  takes and emotional toll on us all and it is the wonderful people on this board who help to ease our burden. You are a shining example of what caring and sharing mean. May you have brighter days and many, many years of continued remission. My best to your wonderful wife and you are in my prayers as well.

Tony, Happy Birthday doesn't say it enough for us. Happy many years ahead to someone we didn't know, who came into our lives and helped to hold us up in a way we didn't think possible! We"ll thank you always and many birthday prayers are on their way for you! Sox fans 4ever-Rod & Annie

Too continue (I pressed enter by mistake),,  We wish you a very happy year.   I'm sorry it's the first w/o mom.   It's my third w/o mom.   Although I know she's watching me, I truly miss conversation.   I focus on memories and her cooking.   Something about trying to make her recipes helps.   And remembering how good her cooking was keeps me in the kitchen trying to duplicate those wonderful meals.

We wish you peace and good health.   Remember only a wonderful son could have a bittersweet birthday this year.  God bless.

Happy Birthday Tony,

Life is short so, make your trip to through the blues a short trip. Ableit an occasional necessity, having the blues is does not a fun day make. It is said that breif bouts of depression are the mind's way of defragging! I "choose" to believe that theory cuz I can!  I'm all for feeling any way a person needs to, for whatever time it takes, then packing up and heading back to a feel good place. cool
