...Well, I guess I'll be seein' ya' all ....I'm darn near walkin' out the door headed down to Indy and the other side. Start time is 7am......thanks for the support, best wishes and prayers.....I'll be in touch when I return......

way to go bluenose it is finally time to move on to life without cancer. Our thoughts and love will be with you all day, give us an update as soon as you can.

To paraphrase a famous old quote "all things considered, I'd rather be in Philadelphia". But ya gotta do what you gotta do to get well and the big majority get thru it pretty darn well. Best of luck from a newcomer whose been dere and done dat.

   Hi Everybody, I'm here......on this side!!   Whaahooooo......I'm laying here in my room. Surgery went great, feeling pretty good to tell the truth. Although I have picked up a new best friend that just keeps "hanging" around and follows me everywhere I go!

  Seriously though, what a relief.....I can't say thanks enough to all of the great people on this site...

Man, that's fantastic to hear from you so soon.  Sorta like breaking news.  Relax, start walking as soon as possible and come to terms with your temporary best friend....

Yeah, we have these really neat flat screens at the bedside. It's nuts what they can do nowdays......I was in the OR for close to three hours, went in at 7a in recovery till almost noon. Only really issue was some gas with left shoulder and B/P.....they got that taken care of pretty quickly, up to my room. Been walking laps around the unit........still waiting on some action with the passing of gas so I can get out of here fairly early tomorrow. For now though.....I'm gonna' put my head down and sleep awhile....

Best friend? I don't think so -- you feel sad when your best friend leaves forever.

Your "best friend" is more like a stalker. Any tears you shed over his departure will be tears of joy. :-)

Bluenose you are a hoot my friend. I don't know if your humor is better on this or that side, but you've got the right attitude towards life, so hang in there buddy!

Just a comment. I assume you were in Clarian North. All private rooms and a computer that you can pull down over the top of you as you lay there. Glad you are feeling well.
