psa results

Psa up from 0.14 to 0.16  4 months apart, Dr said it could be the margin of air in the test, said we will wait several more months and test again so the waiting game goes on , but I'm getting more use to it, It is just part of my life  after joining this PC club

I was told HT could keep the PSA at bay, in some cases for quite some time. If in fact the PSA begins to rise and again as I have been led to believe after radiation there is a time factor involved less time than if Radiation was used for the original therapy but still Time needs to be factored in. WE are a waiting and a watching group no matter what the procedures implemented are hang in there.

Any increase would concern any of us but it is not such a great movement over 4 months. In all probability it is as was suggested a small hiccup in the reading. A few more readings should give a better idea of what's happening so tough as it is be positive. Much mojo headed your way for a positive outcome.

Here's hoping the slow down in your numbers continuing down is just a time issue. I know when I started salvage radiation my doctor told me it could take a year or more for it to finishing coming down. The waiting is hard I know but your in my thoughts for the numbers to be next time and it just had a little more work to finish up. Hang in there and the good news is it appears to be stable at the moment.
