Uncomfortable/Painful Orgasm

Hi All,

my Dr. told me to start taking Viagra a week or so after the surgery.  I did not want anything to happen while I was using a catheter so I waited until a few days after the catheter was pulled.  I had the catheter for 15 days.  took Viagra on 18th day.  did not get an erection, just slightly longer.  had an orgasm that was slightly painful and uncomfortable, don't really know how to describe it.  will this go away after more healing time?  Dr. wants me to take 50mg twice weekly of the Viagra.

Yep, the first time can be uncomfortable, but things do settle down and continue improving as time and practice goes on... tongue ED rehab can be a long and frustrating process, here's hopping you are one of the lucky ones,....

Agree with James C. I distinctly remember the early days while not being painful, could well be described as uncomfortable and different. This passed after a short time I guess with healing.

So soon after the catheter was removed, maybe you should have (and should) wait some additional period of time before doing this again.

Hi

I had / have the same thing . . . almost as if the catheter bruised the inside of the penis. The frequency and severity of the pain seems to be diminishing.

Since I too am quite new at this . . . I take everyone (including the docs) at their word; all will heal in time.

Good luck.  Unfortunately for me and unbeknownst to me prior to surgery, I had not insurance coverage for ED even if it was cancer surgery related.  Lost the appeal even with the dr's support.  Therefore, I could not afford Viagra and still suffer with ED.  At 51 I have resigned myself to give up sex and sometimes on life.  I feel I've been neutered.

I am truly sorry to hear that.  my dr. said I might have problems getting the insurance companies to pay for the Viagra so he added to the script that the Viagra was for "vasodilation".  my insurance paid for 10 pills which would be 20 doses.  it will be interesting to see what happens when I try to get a refill.

You can order generic viagra from alldaychemist.com for about 58 cents per pill.  I've been using these generic pills for about 2 years now.  In my opinion, they work as well as the real thing.
