finally get path report 3 weeks after surgery

took three weeks before I get a pathology report and that was after I started hounding the doctor's office late last week.  I guess it was worth waiting for though.  you can see the results in my sig.  they did not give me any numbers so I asked them to mail me a copy of the report for my records.

Yep, that's the gold standard path report for surgery. Congrats, and hope you have a lifetime of zero's ahead..

Congradulations! Sounds great to me. I hope to get one that sounds just that good in a week or two.

Took me 3 weeks of hounding too, know that feeling. Congrats on a good read, that's just what you needed to hear.

Congrats-why do they make us wait though. Don't they know we hang on every second until we know the results. A little more compassion would be nice.

Hi Ed,
I would still ask for the pathologists report (it's in writing). This looks like an Email, and I appreciate it, but your records should include the pathologists writen report, not just the doctors comments about it.

Great job, however. You are definately on the right track.

I agree Tony and I did tell them I want the pathology report, I told them to snail mail it to me.  they replied they would email it to me but so far I have not seen it.  I also told them my local urologist who referred me to the UCSF doctor wanted a pathology report for their records.
