In another thread, spisam posted for the first time. :

My name is Sam and I'm from Delray Beach, Fl. On January 6, 09 I had PC surgery using DiVinci at Florida Hospital in Orlando. Dr Vipul Patel is my surgeon. He has performed several thousand procedures with robotics and is internationally known. He has a wonderful team to support him before, during and after surgery. They made me feel special. The Hospital itself is like a resort. I am very satisfied with Dr Patel and the results. Except for some leakage which is driving me crazy, after three weeks I feel great. After surgery, I stayed at a nearby hotel and was able to recuperate walk outside in the nice Florida weather which is a plus. I stayed near the hospital until the catheter was removed after 6 days. I am confident you will make the right choice for you.

Welcome, Sam to HW. and to the other side, since you are post surgery. I hope you will share your Journey with us as you go along the road to recovery. A signature with the pertinent details would be helpful for us to see where you have been.

A hearty welcome to you Sam. Glad you found us, and happy you are back on this side after your surgery. Sounds like you had a pretty good event so far. Nothing like being on the beach in Florida, that part sounds pretty good. Please keep us posted about your progress and recovery. And as James suggested above, perhaps make a signature so we can see your path so far. Plenty of people here will be more than willing to support you and share information.

Thank you. On 1/26 I posted "Post op progress" under SPISAM were I provided my data and pathology report. This is a great site. I know I'm not alone. Sam
