After a long week of waiting and sweating I finally got my third PSA result today. < 0.1 (undetectable). Man, I was so relieved. I don't think it gets any less nervous around PSA time.

Extremely happy for you Kris.  I know you were worried about the upgrade of your gleason score after your RRP.  After nine months I think you are home-free and I think our good Doctor Fagin got all of it.  Go into the future now with confidence and live your life to the fullest.  God bless you and your family.

Excellent news Kris, I wish you a long lifetime of ZERO'S. I agree, the wait and anticipation is excruciating, but it does get some easier, but that fear is always lurking. So far, so good !!

A buddy of mine is scheduled with Dr. Fagin on the 19th of this month. Looks like he did a great job for you. I'll let my friend know. Good luck with future zeros.

Congratulations...your stats are virtually identical to my husband's (he has 57 at diagnosis with clinical stage T1c but pathology upgraded him to T3a with gleason 3+4 and clean margins and seminal vesicles). He had his surgery in March 2008 and has his 11 month PSA and check up on the 20th. So far, his PSA results have all been 0.0 (yippee!).

May you have a long and happy life filled with ... what else ... zeros!

Thank you every one and I do wish everyone on this site with lifetime of zero’s. You are all great people and the best of friends. It’s a pity we have to meet under these difficult circumstances. It feels like only yesterday when I found out I had this dreadful disease and came home immediately and went on the Internet for answers. Maybe it was my lucky day also as I came across this wonderful website where everyone cares for each other even if we haven't even met.

Great news. Are you still going to Austin for follow-ups are in the Dallas area? Anyway, you are right, the anxiety builds up waiting on the results. My doctor's office has the machine and I have the blood drawn and wait the 20 minutes for the results.

I actually missed a few days rushing through here or would have thrown my congrats in sooner! Hey, KrisP - way to go! Yep, we still get nervous about those PSA tests, probably always will. So glad to see this report.

Congrats. I'm a T3a also (the P means it was upgraded from the initial diagnosis). It's always good to hear that another T3'er is doing well.
