prostititis and hemrroihds

HELLO i am new to this site glad i found it. I was diagnosed with prostititis 1/08/09. My URo doc put me on advodart and uroxatral i have been taking it fine and then the last month or so i felt some numbness at my bottom and constipation. i felt some pain when i would have bowel movements. i took it up with my doc and he gave me a rectal exam and said i had two internal hemmis. i was wondering if it is the meds that im taking is making me get hemmis since the prostate is down there also? Doc told me not to pay attention down there and take some otc like prep h. its kinda hard not to pay attention when there is pain there. i am 30 yrs old with my life on hold with this ahhhhhh. any suggestions is highly appreciated or any similar expiriences. thanks!!!!

One of the things you might learn from us older dudes is how to make things easier on digestion and relieving oneself. Drinking more plain water and perhaps even taking a fiber additive like Citracel (sp) will aid in elimination and take the pressure off those hemorrhoids and your prostate which is adjacent to your lower bowel.
