It has been a week since my biopsy. My question is this. Is it normal to be clear when peeing then have blood (and small clots) when peeing especially a few hours after an orgasm

While I did not have blood in urine after my several biopsies, this sounds normal. The needle can perforate the uretra and it may take time healing. An orgasm can open the wounds, hence blood. But if this persits or the amount of blood is more than a trace, I would call a doc.

Sounds very normal to me. After the big "O," you don't always empty the uretha ect....Going pee pee clears the pipes out.

The blood from the big O will go away in a week or two.

Hi Wedsr, From memory I was pretty much the same, I think the small clots and small traces of blood, lasted about 2 weeks or so after biopsy.  I think you will find that it is fairly normal for this to happen, and will clear up very soon.  It would also be helpfull to others if you post your signature, as to your current statistics, as they unfold.  Click on Control Panel above.

Ditto ! We were checking to see who was hemmorhaging. Darn, it was me ! Can be a little disconcerting.

Look top left on the third menu bar down.

I also had blood in semen -- what's that? turn Lasted about 6 weeks, and at the end was clearly old blood -- brown instead of red.

My doc told me there could be blood in urine and/or semen for up to 6 weeks after biopsy. Right after the biopsy semen was almost pure blood or at least looked like it was.  Didn't notice it in urine except after ejaculation.  Like others, by the time I had surgery about 6 weeks post biopsy the blood was almost gone and what was left was brown rather than red.  David
