Muscadine grape

Last year I made a small batch of Muscadine wine that was wonderful so this year I am going to make more. Anyway in doing a bit of research I stumbled across this and thought it interesting. This is of course in research phase os no miricle cure here, If had known this years back and knocked down a bottle every night I might still have the old walnut. Of course I might be looking for a new liver.

According to a Sept. 1 article in the journal Cancer Research, the “unique properties” of muscadine grape skin extract “suggest that it may be an important source for further development of chemopreventive or therapeutic agents against prostate cancer.”

Benjamin Franklin is quoted as saying: "Beer is evidence that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

There are a lot of studies which suggest that moderate consumption of red wine, along with a healthy diet is good protection against all kinds of ailments. I wouldn't recommend it as a cure for PC but it is hard to believe that it would do any harm.

That very well might be true, you sure wouldn't want to eat them just as grapes, so making wine out of them might be the best use for them. Also, they are very hearty grapes to grow, not fussy at all about growing conditions.
