Hello All:

I am making remarkable progress on the ED front given I have been out only 4 months (and low capacity with only one nerve bundle left!). However, the erections continue and stay on only if if I wear a band at the base per my Dr's advice. In that case I am as good as 'new' (and without any medication)! However, without the band, it's on and off. My Doc says, this is a venous leak and that the band prevents the blood from escaping. It's a small price to pay but very inconvenient.

Did any one experience this on the way to ED recovery? if so, did it go away eventually? Is this something to be resolved medically? Whatever the resolution, I hope it doesn't involve my good friend the catheter!

Venous leak is very normal and just a part of the healing process. Now with only one set of nerves left, you may take longer, but hey, with where you are now, I'd say you are  doing really, really well.

Your goal should be to take an assesment at the one year mark. There is a marked improvement for many guys at 9 months, then again at one year.   It sounds to me as if you are well on your way to a total recovery. Many guys with both nerves do not get erections like yours at the 4 month mark. Congratulations.

Stop worrying. Be happy. You might try a constricting cock ring to help things out - unless is the band you are talking about an Actis Band?  Then they are the same thing!

Thanks Paul. I am using one of my wife's simple pony tail bands! If there's something better, I am all for it. I will researcg the actis brand..

Just go to your local sex shop and buy a cock ring that looks like a lassoo. It is a rubber tube that goes through a bead. You simply cinch it as tight as you need it. Do NOT get the **** star cock rings - ie the metal rings, or leather straps.
This little tube thing should cost under $10. It is washable.

The Actis ring is a bit more expensive and harder to get.

Shave your pubes before using any cock ring.
