"B" - while my entire PC journey has been a never ending story now since my first biopsy back in 2007, it does seem like a purgatory or limbo of never ending medical matters, however, when I converted from being a protestant to being Catholic at age 50, got fascinated with the true doctrine of purgatory, not a place, i.e. heaven or hell, but a state of being. And since I write horror, the name kind of stuck. There, mystery revealed.
kbars - after spending 101 days on 7 foleys, the SP is refreshing, as soon as the exit suture heals a little better, think I will enjoy the difference, especially since I am on this one for at least 2-3 months. The rest of it, as you know, works like any other catheters, and I became a wizz with big bags, straps, leg bags, and the latest in catheter fashions.
jeff - when you wear the big bag or as some call it, the night bag, its a closed system and pretty well keeps itself equalized, but when wearing a leg bag, its not, and any abruptness to the tube or the bag, can cause a nice wave of pain as it back pressures up the hose, up the cath. You will know what I mean if you have ever experienced that.
