When I post a new topic, I check the email notification of replies button, but I have never received any email notifications. Am I doing something wrong?

It works, but the option is only available if you use the "post reply" button and not the "quick reply" box. Check your profile in Control Panel and see if there is something there that might be interfering.

It's possible your Internet Service Provider is blocking the mail. If you can view email on-line do that and look in the spam folder.
