May your stomachs be filled with tryptophan and your salads topped with walnuts.

Thank you Andrew,
It's very sad. I knew that Spielman's wife was ill but I am saddened by her passing. It will be a difficult Thanksgiving for them. I pray that they have peace and are surrounded by loved ones.

My Thanksgiving wishes to everyone as well.
I am so thankful to be living in the USA with my PC. The availability of solid healhcare with rapid response, medical insurance, as faulty as some would say it is, and thousands of qulified medical facilities, and hundreds of thousands of dedicated health care professionals gives each one of us the prosepect of more days in our lives.
I am thankful for HW as well, and all of my internet brothers and sisters. I can honestly say that I don't know how much harder this experience would have been without all of you.
Even tho I may sometimes feel as tho I didn't deserve to have PC, I am thankful each day for another day, and look forward to tomorrow, no matter what is happening in my little world.
Happy Thansgiving to all here on HW. I thank God for the many good things in my life.

I'm thankful that I am alive today, and full of hope that I will be here another year to celebrate this day.
I wish this for all.
I hope in the coming year that we can have a health care system that would allow me, and all of my PCa brothers, the opportunity to accept a job that would allow us the pursuit of happiness we are all assured in this country.
I know today that my greatest misery with my PCa is my diagnosis prevents me from accepting better jobs that would allow me to provide for my family, whether or not I am here tomorrow or not. That is the real tragedy of my affliction.
All of us should enjoy the opportunity to enjoy the inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Cancer should never change that.
May all of us enjoy our lives in the following year. And let us hope that no financial entity stands in the way of that dream.

I see we are all getting more serious here so I will add to my early post.
I am thankful that my PCa brought me here. This site and the people I have met have truly enriched my life in ways I cannot describe.
Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather not have PCa and not met you. But given that was not an option, I am thankful to you for being there when I needed help and for sharing my most intimate thoughts, fears and details.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. In the UK we've got to wait another 4 weeks for our turkey dinner, but we do get Boxing Day as compensation for no Thanksgiving!
Best wishes. Jeremy

Happy Thanksgiving to all who make this site possible and to the many who give clear honest advice. I often stop and think how things could be worse. I have much to be thankful for. God is good.
