Update from Uro/Surgeon's Office Visit.

Thanks, Jennifer. The exact length of time the post surgery catheter(s) may stay in still to be determined. Depends what my uro/surgeon finds, and how complicated it ends up being, but at least there will be an end. Thats a big improvement.

DJ, it is weird to think that I may have two at once. These will be #11 and #12 if I am not mistaken. I am just thankful my surgeon is giving a lot of thought, prep, and joint consultation with my rad. oncologist, and thinking ahead to prevent me from being in another painful emergency situation if something goes wrong.

And for our newer friends here, as usual, I handed his nurse a two page typed letter before seeing him yesterday, and he read it and had it with him when he came in the room. I brought him up to date with a lot of details that would have been easy to forget in person. He always tells me he loves the letters, as it makes his job easier if he knows in detail what is going on with me since my last visit. He's also great about keeping my regular scripts up to date, so I never have to worry about running out of what I have been on for years.
