Jeff...excitement is an understatement at my (our) latest achievements .

It's amazing what was taken for granted not too long ago.

I didn't post a new thread about it. I was just enjoying the the step back up and counting my blessings that I was able to get there. So far, I believe I've had a pretty uneventful recovery in the context of what many others are going through, here. I wish all of us the same...a good recovery.

Thanks. It was certainly an uplifting experience. The stuff works. James C has been a lot of help for me. PM him on some specifics...a good source of info and support on injections...thanks James:)

 

It may take a few times to get the dose and procedure right. But, when it works...it does work.

 

In radio engineer talk, I figure I'm headed back down into VHF frequencies in terms of antenna length due to trimix. Radiated efficiency good at better than 80% and no reception problems, so far.

Mikey- I don't need to pick up VHF. I'd gladly settle for UHF. Anything is better than the 3 cm microwave stub I have now.

now that im not pluged anymore its time to start on something else like the ed problem. after talking to jeff about the pain not being bad,im a niny for pain, i think ill skip the pump and go for the gusto. time to inject. my uro even suggested it. mama has been a little frustrated latley but understanding and its time to make her happy. when mama;s mad there is no one happy. its just part of being the Queen of the castle.ill get this in motion on my next visit with the uro. got to let this blockage surgery heal for now. thanks jeff for the encouragement.   neil

Congratulations !! I recall wanting to get "Back in the Saddle Again" after surgery, but it was the leather saddle that I throw up on that big gray quarter horse. Hell, I knew that the other "saddle" was going to be a long ways off. But, the Bimix has made a difference, albeit difficult to titrate the dosage for the best response. One time it works, and the next it is a complete failure, so we are still trying to "go figure" that one out. The ache persists following the injection, and we have not been able to resolve that either, so it takes away from the purpose of the pleasure. But, we shall keep forging away with it, as it still beats not being back in the saddle at all.

Be careful, don't want you to have to end up in the emergency department where they end up sticking a large bore needle in Mr. Willie to drain off the blood that refuses to leave on it's own. Last night, I almost had to make that trip, but the Pseudofed took care of it ! Wheww !!
