Hi everyone, saw my Uro today, he said he was quite happy with the PSA staying at 0.6 after being 0.5 for 2 1/2 years, he also was happy with no doubling time or sharp rise. In his opinion said he would be very surprised if the cells sending the PSA had moved out of the pelvic area, were probably lying dormant in a lymph node close to the prostate site.
The team is happy to monitor me at the moment, and I am to see my Oncologist on 2nd August, they said they have lot's of weapons, (HT and chemo) that may come into play at a later date if necessary, but said they have one patient who has been 0.7 for 6 years, and feel I might be the same.. so on with life we go.
Best regards to all, Mal.
