How is everyone today! Found some little tiny brownish flakes on my pad this morning assuming that it may possibly be passing a blood clot. Am I right in assuming this?

Hard to say without seeing them Woodguy, but likely so unless you have been eating bran flakes in bed. Hope your recovery goes well.

Ron,
Yes, the brown flakes in your urine are totally normal and are a good sign. They are little scabs coming off the blood clots that sealed up capillaries. Just as the scabs falling off a skinned knee are a good sign. This can take months to happen, so don't freak out. As long as you are peeing, you are fine.
Uro's are very laid back about
WHAT comes out - as long as it DOES come out. When I overdid it at week three and proceeded to pass copious amount of blood and huge chunks of blood clots, my uro did not even want to see me. told me to lie down and drink lots of fluid. Only time to panic was when I could no longer pee. A few days later, I was fine.
You're healing! Yea!

Be werid to see, Im sure, but sounds like a normal situation, blood turns that color as soon as it oxidizes, so should be ok.

I have brown flakes on my pad every time I split wood with my TroyBilt 27 ton splitter. I get wood chips and dirt down my shirt, pants, boot, socks, undies and even inside the pad. How the heck do they get in there?
Keep Warm,

AS posted before, as your bladder heals, there will be spots of blood. Not unusual at all. I had them going on for at least 3-weeks to a month and maybe longer.
