No more cath! Path report

Hey folks, cath out this morning after 7 days, stung like the dickens but whata relief! so far only a drop or two lost and control is excellent. I think my guy has some major skills. Path report is ok, not perfect. No upgrade in gleeson, stayed at 6.Tumor 20% involved in one half, 5% other half. Only blip was a slight margin in one area but was only fractional and did not escape. My decision not to wait may end up being the best thing i`ve ever done for myself. Docs statement was he believes no further treatment will be nec. in the long run, will just have to hope for the best i guess. After reading a few hospital horror stories i would have to say my care was awesome from the get go. The hospital is surgeon owned and i think that may be a good thing, spotlessly clean and a high level of care and service. Thanks all! Tim

Cpngrats to both of you guys, the pee sting is normal , by the way, and might do so for several weeks, as all the sliced and diced parts heal. Expect blood at odd times, and it's good to hear that the initial removal time is virtualy leak free....

Congrats to both of you.  T-dog we also used a surgeon-owned hospital--we did not really know if that was a good or bad thing, but had already decided on our doctor when we found out about that.

thanks for the positive vibes guys, so far so good. to answer your question tim from diag. to surgery was exactly 3 months. we ruled out radiation early on and concentrated on finding the best guy. good luck to you, tim

If you still have burning and irritation after a couple days, maybe it's time to try the yellow staining urinary miracle cure- pyrillium or whatever its called- Purgatory swears by it. Maybe he will come around sometime this week and spell it for us..
