I started using Viagra for the first time. I took half of the 100 mg pill just before going to sleep. I got about 75% erection, I had no headache but did have stuffy nose. Does it get better after more use? Also can I take it every day? Would I get better result if I took the 100 mg pill? Thanks

hey ed, no pun intended, take the whole pill. i get great results with the blue pill. i see blue and red colors though. continued use should improve your results. just took one . mabe ill get breakfast again. neil

I have taken 100mg of Viagra (All Day Chemist) every night for about 9 months. No headache, but some stuffiness most of the time. I've gotten used to it, and the benefits of the pill outweigh the minor side effects, IMO.

try it and see what you get......

Thanks for your input. I'll try the 100 mg and see if I can get a usable erection without the trimix which works fine for me.

You take 100 mg every day?!?! I thought the maintenance dose was 25 mg. When I take 100 mg I see so many blue lights I think I'm getting pulled over for speeding.
It doesn't do anything useful for me.

I use an ADC 'Kamagra 100" (got by accident on an order miscue) about every 3rd day -- usually just before bedtime as advised around here many times. (And then use either ADC Levitra or Ceebis on the other days) -- always at full strength. No side effects except maybe some indigestion, but that might be from the Vasoflow -- also every day. I'm a regular better-living-thru-chemistry sort of guy. Not much to show for it except the nocturnals, which are like dreams, you wake up and they fade away.

Jeff........I have never experienced the blue vision thing while taking Viagra. I know others have. When my surgeon started me on the RX Viagra, the insurance covered only 6 pills per month. So he advised me to split them, and take one every other night to nearly cover a month. At the same time, he sanctioned my using ADC. Once I got the ADC Viagra, he gave me the green light (not the blue one) to take it up to 100mg, and if no problems, fire away every night. So that's what I did. In the beginning, I didn't even get any plumping, but felt i was getting blood to the tissue. Then, over time, things started to happen, and now, taking the pill before bed, I get frequent nocturnal erections

100 mg would be too strong for me- I would get a monster headache with that one, my dr recs 25 mg daily.  I guess everyone varies.    I read drinking coke helps the headaches, anyone agree on that

Coke may relieve headaches but would add to the gas and incontinence

Why not take a Tylenol 1/2 hr prior to taking the 100mg viagra ?

I feel so sick when I take the 100 I stopped altogether. Still have some left in the bottle. For me the side effects vastly outweighed the benefits. Thankfully, I am doing fine with whatever is left of my left bundle!

I took the 100mg Viagra yesterday. I didn't get a headache or a stuffy nose, unfortunately, I didn't get any result on the erection side. As a matter of fact, I got more result when I took 50mg. How is that possible?

Ed..did you take the pill on an empty stomach, or at least two hours after eating? Was your prior meal fat-laden? That can have an effect on the action of the Viagra------try the 100mg again, and split the pill in half before downing it.

Digestive tract contacts have a lot to do with the absorption rate of Viagra. Try Arnie's suggestion of having not eaten a fatty meal for at least 2 hours, experiment and try 2 hours post eating anything for that matter. Even better eat some walnuts 2 hours prior to the Viagra, the L-Arginine will increase blood flow everywhere which also will help Mr. Happy

Splitting the 100mg ( vs taking it whole) will mean it gets absorbed faster, give that a try as well. Many times its the circumstances surrounding the taking of the ED drug vs the actual dosage that makes them successful. So it is very possible the on one day a 50mg dosage will be more effective than a 100mg dose, based on what you ate, drank, etc
