Anyone use Inject-Ease Auto-injector from BD?

In case anyone is interested, they can be ordered online or from a pharmacy.

I went to CVS and mine should arrive tomorrow afternoon.

I do not mind needles so much as I dislike looking at them...lol...so we shall see if this provides a viable solution to that situation.

According to the guy in the linked article, changing to an auto-injector made things much more pleasant.  Will let you guys know what my experience is after I give it a whirl.

Will definitely let you know how it goes.

The doc using a very large needle today did not do much to help my psyche...lol....and while I receive shots and have blood drawn regularly without a needle issue, someone else is putting the needle in and I do not look when they do it....lol.

My HOPE is that this will help, since obviously I cannot avoid looking when I am aiming a needle.

Will let you know....and you folks don't laugh, but it felt GREAT to have an erection, even one at 80% of max, that felt so good and natural, as this one did today.  I get erections from my pump and will continue to use that as therapy, but for me at least the feeling from the injection far surpasses the feeling from the pump.

Gave myself my first shot today.....used the Inject-Ease autoinjector....was a piece of cake.

Glad to get that first self-injection out of the way.

Now I need to find the right dosage for me.

Appreciate everyone's input about injections.  Has helped me tremendously.

I just bought one but have not used it yet. It was not stocked in the local pharmacies here so I bought it online through Amazon. Just do a search. Silly me. I thought they only sold books.

I'll let you know how it works - if I ever get up the nerve to do it again. I hate needles, too.

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, 2013. I had my prostate removed and was glad to hear that the surgeon was able to save my nerves. She stated that I should be able to get an erection, but as of this writing no luck. I use a pump as therapy, but when I'm through it doesn't last. My doctor recommended injections. She injected me to show me exactly how it's suppose to be done which did result in an erection. My problem is I can't do it myself and am very interested in the Auto Injectors. You all have mentioned the BD Auto Injector. I want to get the right one, so I'm asking anyone who may have the exact model and model number to please give it to me. Thank you all for your help in this matter.

Thanks for the suggestion! InjectEase was the best. (The other more expensive one on amazon by mumford did not pierce deep enough)

I cannot find them on the Canadian site also it says not available at this time. Maybe try a Diabetes supply company for needles etc..

I think they are a great idea and would help some of us.
