I am SO happy to report that my father's PSA came back undetectable today!! For those of you that have not followed our journey, he has completed RP, IMRT and two years of HT. Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes!!! Oh happy day!!

I love it when a plan comes together! My 8 month post tests are coming soon.

Chayna, does he know his T levels? Also, how is he feeling? I can say I am so much better now that HT is just about worn off.

Tony- I asked him his T levels this morning, and he did not think the doctor tested them.  He said that he is starting to feel so much better and that the night sweats and hot flashes are almost gone.  He also said he has started noticing and appreciating the female anatomy again :)  All good signs.

LOL...same here. I was just watching a Shania Twain video, and I really wasn't into the song as much as 6 months ago...But I still replayed it a couple times...

There are times when we feel that progression of our PC is inevitable and we are helpless to stop its progression.

But then we come to HW and see stories like Dad's that give us the courage to keep on fighting. It aint over til its over.

Good to hear great news. Reminds me that getting home dry from an IGRT session is a step on the path to progress. Nice to have good reports from those ahead of me on the path.

Great encouraging news. Sounds like everything is going according to a plan. PSA is zero while T is rising. Definitly a cause for celebration on both fronts. Congratulations!

Hi Dottie,
It's been a while since I posted to you, but I have followed all your posts closely, since my situation mirrors your Dad's pretty much. First, congratulations to him on the undetectable psa. May all the future ones be the same.
Question to you: What dosage of Lupron was your Dad on? This latest psa is a 6 months after the last injection. Have his symptoms worn off enough to know the Lupron has cleared his body? Will he test for T levels? What will be his test regimen going forward? Just trying to catch a glimpse of my future here. Thanks.

Dear DD, First, congratulations to your dad on this wonderful news. I'm thrilled for him, for you, for all of us here who are following his saga linked by a powerful brotherhood. This is good news indeeed. Second, DD, I want to salute you.
