Hey Timm good to hear "your date with a robot" went well. I personally feel the Kegels thing is a bit overblown and continence improves naturally. For me, at 74 years old I haven't kept a date log on happenings but I gave up on night time pads after a few weeks, went to female light day pads day times for few weeks and a pad when I was away from home and bathroom
locations uncertain. about
six weeks out I gave up on any kind of pads. Am seeing what the Vatikutti institute apparently expects will happen post surgery as in a six month questionnaire I have to fill out they ask "how many times / day does one DRIBBLE" which depends on how much one lifts, twists, reaches, sneezes, and so on. Learning how to sneak out a little stinker takes practice
....at any rate EVERY day gets even better. Coffee and a couple of beers are unfriendly but manageable!
74 years old - 6' / 195 lbs - 20 MG Benicar/day for hypertension
Henry Ford Vatikutti robotic prostatectomy by Dr. Peabody 2/10/10. Gland was 106 grams and 3+4=7 confirmed. two of twelve cores 30% & 70%. Nerves spared, margins clear, lymph nodes and ducts clear. Six week PSA undetectable. My surgery took four hours primarily due to the over sized gland which made the urethra / bladder connection a tad more difficult. Penile and incision catheters came out the following day before being going home and the pubic catheter ten days later. Zero problems with catheter plugging
After reading some of the stories guys / gals tell about
in various threads I consider myself VERY fortunate! Have you checked out "Midi's" thread?
