I do not want to come off as not looking a gift horse in the mouth, but I have been so very blessed since my surgery that I am starting to wonder if my blessings will go away. I have been pad free since 2 days after having my catheter removed. I have had no problems with ED and I am able to get a very firm erection with minimal effort without my prescript
ion.
Again I know that I am so very blessed from some of the stories that I have read. But I am wondering if others have had this experience soon after surgery and then it all go away? I am usually such a positive person and not sure why I am starting to have these doubts.

Rob,
I too dried up pretty quickly on the incontinence part, and like you, have had no ED problems. Despite having 5 corrective surgeries since, and having 39 radiation treatments, and being on my 17th catheter, none of that has reversed any thing for me in those departments.
I realize that this may change naturally in the future, but I stay thankful for where I have been blessed.

I was having noctural erections with the catheter in and then they went away at the one month date. It took 9 months for them to return. But I would say that you are blessed...

Thank you all. I will count my blessings and stop worrying about
the future. Well I will try on the latter part. Seems I always want to take it back when I know that to quit trying to control it and let go is so much easier.
