Viagra to take or not to take?

Take it but not at that price. Look up postings about "all day chemist". Quite a few guys here use it and have not had any trouble. The cost will be 1/10 of that.

First off welcome, I always am sorry to see new members but am also glad they found us.

I take 1/2 of a 100mg generic Viagra from alldaychemist every other day. I firmly believe it has helped with my ED recovery. Use it or loose it is tossed around a lot but everything I've been able to find indicates it's especially true with ED caused by prostate removal.

My Dr started me on 5mg Cialis with 20mg for "special occasions" and emphasized the need for blood flow, Cialis is $$$$ and didn't work that well so I tried the generic V'. It was about $0.50/pill with their double pill offer.

patzuz...most uro's will advise taking something like Viagra to stimulate blood flow and to prevent antropy. My uro didn't advise due to cost, but suggested stimulation would be just as favorable. That opens a lot of doors and discussion so take it in the realm of new ways for intimacy with your partner.

Just a suggestion as an alternative.

If you must buy American viagra, take a look at www.edguider.com . they list all the viagra sources and prices. BTW - my docs have no problem with my using ADC since most of our american drugs are now made in India anyway.

Also, if you are more than six weeks past surgery, get a p*rn shop pump - "Fireman's Friend" is a good one and about twenty bucks. just pump it twice a day for therapy. Also, mast*rbate every day. Be aggressive with this therapy please. You are too young to not take care of this as soon as possible. email me with any questions.

Why Not: He will be smaller, perhaps to small when erect to even have intercourse

It is extremely important to follow the ED dosage initially, the nocturnal erections are key to his recovery

I understand you do not want to go generic or order online, OK, then skip a couple of nights out and pay the $400 a month for the drug , a 30 day supply ( 100 x 30 pills works for 60 days) so its really only $200 a month. He may only need it a few months. Some places like rite aide pharmacy have "non-insurance discount cards" that knock off I believe 20% f

I was disappointed at the long lasting effects of ED after a Radical and then mop up Radiation back in 05.  At that time I got a lot of encouragement from individual stories I read at  http://www.yananow.net/  They said use it or lose it and after 1 1/2 yrs I thought for sure it was the later;  Then it happened.  What happened?

This is what happened:  A birthday pool party for a Grandson gets us all together, 20-30 people.  My daughter in law is of Cuban heritage. She has sisters.  One of those sisters is a knockout and she has a new bikini.  Waterpolo in the pool and I'm sitting in the cabana with ice tea watching that bikini.  My goodness it starts.  It grows, it bulges. it protrudes and felt wonderful but embarrassing.  I mean "HELLO BUDDY, WELCOME BACK.  WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN SO LONG"  I quickly grabbed a towel to cover and went to the bathroom.  It went down just as quick as it came up and before I could do anything about it too, darned.

After we drove away hours later, my wife says "Was that what I think it was?" "YES."  "Lets go invite him back, I want to see him again."

During those next months he accepted our invitations once in a while and showed up.  Each appearance was a surprise because we could never quite figure out how to phrase the invitation.

Oh, we were bathing and rubbing often.  In fact I don't think I ever smelled better, had smoother skin or less hair in my life then right at that time but full relations were rare. The kind of situation where the mind was willing but the flesh was weak continued.  But we would exercise and did not give up.  I also was taking 1/2 Generic Levitra about twice a week.  Some pills from VA  and some from http://www.alldaychemist.com/ , which for me they work the same.

We used a pump but in a little different way then some other people I've read about.  We don't use the pump immediately before intercourse.  We use it to condition of my tissue.  I get decent erections now with 1/2 a 20mg Levitra only and no pump.  I get 6 free generic Levitra every 90 days from the VA.  We use the pump to keep my penis tissues in good condition and able to swell later with the pill.  

At that phase my wife surprised me several times when she might bring out the pump and ask if she could do it to me.  For her to be so overt tickled me and added another dimension of tension.   We and/or I make it an 30 minute exercise routine a couple times a week that goes something like this.  Take a warm bath or shower and shave "around" if needed.  Skin care with something she likes the smell of, that I can tolerate.  Apply pump with lube and raise low vac. only.  While under low vac.  I do a series of kegels "with a twist" as groups of 10 and then neutralize vac. to 0 each time and rest for a few minutes in between.  Usually 100 or so total.  Back and forth holding the inner muscles tight enough to make the cylinder bounce.  That helps me keep the tissue in decent condition.  It goes up and down many times but we rarely go all the way to erection during exercise.  Then we stop, clean up and do something different.

I look back on that time now and realize it was a way to build emotional and sexual tension between us.  Neither of us knew exactly how things would work out.

Like I said I was a long time coming to full intercourse but with patience things worked out just fine.  So I have a different goal when I pump.  I also can endorse "All Day Chemist" as a vendor.

How about some of you other guys jumpin in here.  How do you use your pump and what is your routine?

I am now 65 and she is 71 but life is full.  I am not happy to have cancer but we have found a few "new normal" things to do to make it interesting for both of us.

Viagra does not list on AllDay.  You have to use the drug name.  Viagra=Sildenafil Citrate

I think the majority of us here who use ADC buy the Manly version of the sildenafil citrate 100mg. manufactured by Cooper Pharm., usually sells as a buy one/get one, which brings the price down into the .57 cents range, last time I checked. The Silagra brand sells for around $2.00 a pill, the same sells in the Canadian Northwest Pharmacy for a little over $4.00 a pill. The Manly pill, while cheap, si sometimes reported as being a little stronger than the Viagra brand name. I have used it for the past 3 years, it's cheap, safe, and while not effective for me, the side effects tell me it would be if I were at the point where the pills did work for me. Just one guys opinion, of course. For those who are unsure about ordering generics from overseas, the Canadian and other countries pharmacies use the same pills, from the same manufacturer and usually from the same Indian wholesalers as ADC uses.

Also, to address the OP, the purpose of the ED pills just after treatment is to improve blood flow into the pelvis, infusing the tissues and such with fresh blood, which aids in the healing of damaged areas and nerve repair being speeded up, probably. The purpose of the pills aren't for promoting intercourse, but as an aid to healing and to help induce those all important healing nocturnal erections. . The usual progression is to use the pills for blood flow and nocturnal erections, progressing to a penis pump in a few weeks if there's no response. The pump will help in the stretching and filling of the penis with blood, to prevent shrinkage and atrophy, and to recover as much length as posible, if possible. The next step, if no success with the pills and pump is the prick. That's the prick of a penile injection needle, of course. The injections are usually painless or very minimal pain, very effective (about 98% of men respond to it). The old saying of making a rope erect is fairly accurate a description. Several of us began the injections early at the same time as the pump in my case- about 6 weeks post surgery. There's some literature out that says penile injection is the fastest and most effective method of rehabbing the penis after RRP. In any case, unless the guy is fortunate to get normal erections soon after RRP, then the road to erections lead thru the pill, pump, and prick protocol. It may take a few months or a few years, it's work, not pleasure and takes dedication and support from a partner, if one is available. That's just the way it is, I'm afraid. However, if someone is scared of the needle, the good healthy feeling one has mentally and physically with having a nice firm erection after so many months of sickness and recovery usually convinces them to continue. It is really amazing how our attitude about life changes when we got one tucked in the pants.
