Spontaneous - a word I haven't used for over 2 years

Much like another poster recently, I have encouraging news. I was told that however you are at the 2 year mark after surgery is pretty much where you will end up. I have reason to believe that this is not necessarily true. I have been waking up noticing that my erection is definitely enough to get the job done, albeit only for about 30 seconds or so. I let my wife know that things seemed encouraging for a possible encounter without the injections. I had planned on including cialis in the plan, but the other night, she was staying awake in bed reading while I was falling asleep, and again, there was the erection. So I rolled over and said, "how about it?" I'm happy to say, no drugs, no injections, it worked! Only for about the 30 seconds I warned about, and I didn't get a chance for an orgasm, but hey, it was progress, and the best thing was, it was spontaneous. I think I forgot how to spell (or say) that word.

I'm looking forward to next time. I think progress is still happening, in spite of what I was told. With the SRT coming up, I'm thankful for some encouragement.

Congrats...Keep up the good work.

I actually have some hopes of spontaneous reaction to the stimuli one gets when pairing up with the female persuation....But I haven't had a date in years shocked

"Spontaneous"- to happen without notice, on the spot, when shes hot, ready or not, up and down like a clown, for a male a special crown! Is that a limerick or just stupid fun!

P.S. Jeff, since when wasnt a 30 second quicky not a good thing, when you can get away with it? lol. Next you can build up to becoming a "Minute Man"

Great to hear, Jeff!

and just to add my experience: when i started SRT, i was told that whatever progress was occurring on ED might be put on hold during the RT process, and then it could continue after the treatment sequence was done.  that was NOT the case, as i saw definite improvement during the 2 months of radiation...[i'm at about 17 months post-surgery]...hopefully, you can too!

Never thought I'd be aspiring to be a minuteman!
But progress is progress...

Bob, it just goes to show us that we can continue to progress regardless of what the expectations are. What I've noticed is that I've made more progress since I gave up and decided it wasn't going to get any better (or at least stopped having any expectations) than I did before.

Congratulations!!! and thank you for sharing. This is so encouraging! May you be blessed with many 30 second and more time going forward! We are only at the 7 month mark but I have always been optomistic that it will happen! You gave us reason to believe.

smilewinkgrin  That might have been my post you read.  Just 3 weeks before my scheduled implant surgery, things started looking better in  the mornings and several times through out the day.  As I said back then, I can now get it up just using the needle and periodically without.  Used to be Viagra and the needle.

Since I've tried the suppositories.....too painful.

Justus, good that you didn't have to go through that! I've been wondering whether those of us that are at the partial erection stage are candidates for the implant surgery or not. Figured I would give it more time before I considered that, and it seems to be the right choice so far - sounds like the same for you.

Hope and Prayer - love your name! Sounds like a battle you two are fighting there, I'll add my prayers to yours, for your recovery.
