I had prostatectomy eight years ago.

I have tried all the pills with no avail.  I have tried Bi Mix, up to 4cc

and don't get a full erection, so I am going to try a pump.

My question is, can any of you experienced users give me any tips

on how to go about using the pump? 

If you use the pump for therapy, how do you use it and for how long?

Can the pump be used in conjuction with injections?  If so, would you use

a small amount of Bi Mix? 

If anybody can give me advise on this matter I would appreciate it.

I haven't had much luck asking my doctor.

Kolin, usually there are instructions that come with the pump - did you not get any, or are you looking for the less obvious tips?
You need to use some lubricant at the base of the pump, where it meets your body, to build vacuum. You try to pull blood into the penis, and then there is usually a button to release the vacuum so you can alternate pressure so you don't build too much up. You put the band over the plastic piece and then slide it into place at the base of the penis (it can be a bit of a shock when the band snaps into place). Some on the forum here have used the band after pumping and before injecting to enhance the effectiveness of the injections. I have had enough success with the bimix by itself to not need to go there. You'll probably hear of their dosage experiences so I won't hazard a guess.

I have talked to at least one guy that had no luck with the pills but the pump was all it took to "relearn" erections - it was what convinced me to try it. Didn't do the trick for me, but I think everyone is different in terms of what helps the most.

The pump is an excellent, cost effective solution to ED. Sadly, most men never get adequate training and then quit because it is not working. It is a steep learning curve. The videos do not tell the whole story either.
Start by taking a look at www.usamediquip.com. they offer a penile sleeve to make the bands less painful. You should also shave around the base of the penis. Also take a look at www.franktalk.org for more complete instructions. Prepare the pump according to instructions.
Basically, take your time, lube up your penis, and then start by pumping up, holding for 5-10 seconds and then release. Repeat this several times. then when you reach 100% - it should not be painful - slip the band off the pump and around the base of your penis. Remove the rubber gasket at the end of the tube, place the tube back over the penis with the ring on the base of the penis. Slowly pump some more while the penis becomes more engorged. Remove the pump and you are ready to go. Be sure to remove the ring by the 30 minute mark.
It will take your body a while to get used to the different sensations, so don't even try to have an orgasm during intercourse. Just enjoy the results of the pump.
Lots of guys here have experience with pumps. They'll be along in a bit.

I have used the pump after surgery and had to try several times before getting used to it. I used 1 rings to hold the blood in. I was bale to keep the erection for 10-15 minutes. Orgasm was somewhat abnormal due the restriction from the rings. I now use the pump just for rahab and use trimix for intercourse.
