The doctor's office just called and said Geoff's post surgery psa ( 6 weeks) is .01!!! We'll be celebrating tonight-we are, as you all know, soooooo relieved.  Hoping the rest of the August surgery club are all going to be Big Fat zeros also.  And the rest of the Sept. psa's.

Renee,  Great news.  I go in next week 9/28 and I hope for the same result.  You 2 deserve to celebrate tonight and since it is Friday....do it up right.  Here's to every test having the same results.  Thanks for the update.

I'll be axiously awaiting your results next week. And thanks so much for the good wishes 142, Les, Mag, Steve and Todd. I can't believe the first thing I did when we got the news ( after hugging Geoff, of course,) was run to the computer to share our good news with my friends here at HW. You people here have really been my lifeline thru this trip and I'm very grateful.
Todd-hoping for some good news from you soon-you're always in my thoughts.

renee - congrats again on the zero for Geoff - ( great spelling - that was my former name until I got fed up with people mis-pronouncing it and mispelling it)

Oh Renee, what great news!!!!! A bottle of champagne is in order I think!!

I am so happy for you and Geoff. I hope we all get similar results, ours will come back on the 7th of October. Good luck on yours too Ed!

Oh, Renee!  I am so happy for you and Geoff!  I hope you had fun celebrating.  What a relief.  An,  may Paul also have the same ZERO!  Ed, your PSA test is coming up real soon and prayers that all will be zero.  Ron's appointment has been canceled for the 28th.  He'll be going October 12.

You know, I am not sure if they will do the PSA with him being treated with Cipro.  I believe that may affect the results?  He is still controlling the pain with meds and uses two pads a day; dry at night.

It is always good to hear news like this!

Bronson , thanks and yes, Geoff knows just what you mean. How many times have you heard "G-Off"? Of course, our last name isn't much better!

An and Aimzee, I have my hopes up that everyone in the Aug. surgeries will be a 0. Geoff had his blood drawn the day we came back from our trip and I was nervous all week-he. of course, wasn't. So, now I'll be holding my breath and crossing my fingers for Ed, Ron, Paul and M. An, I am happy that Ron is getting some relief from the pain and being dry at night is the first step toward being continent. I don't know about the Cipro,but you're probably right.

Indeed a celebration is in store. I think I will party myself. Now that you have the good news and you are relieved I would say it is time to start enjoying the important things in life. 'thanks for sharing the awesome news
