Hi Josh. Whew, what a relieve. Thanks for letting us all know the status of
your dad. I'm looking forward to hearing from him to let us know how he is doing and to give us all the little details. Please tell him we're all thinking of him
and wish him well.

My dad said to thank everyone of you. No sleep the first night.. still dealing with some pain issues but surgery seems successful. Still no food or water. We'll check back another time...thanks again...

Josh - sorry to hear about the pain and lack of sleep - things will improve soon for your Dad.

-may I make a suggestion for us following David's recovery

- could you post new topic each day - ie. report from hospital - 9/24 ... I don't think that would eat up any extra bandwidth and that would make it an easier thread to read

your Dad is more popular than the daily Rex Morgan MD comic strip ( your dad will understand that meaning)!!

I've been following your dad's journey for many months. Maybe he will finally get some relief. My wife and I pray for him specifically every night. Your dad is a real HERO for all the suffering that he has endured. May God bless him and his family.

Josh -

I admire your father because he somehow manages not to succumb to despair and because he takes the time to help others even when he was suffering. I am not half as tough or half as generous as he is. I wish him relief from his pain and all good things!
