Hi everyone...
Was supposed to go in for PSA test in Oct. Prostate was nice and relaxed. :) I was looking forward to seeing the results.
Well the day before the appointment our house got broken into. Sigh, I had to miss the appointment to fix the bashed in door... Appointment got pushed back to last Friday. I had a relapse of a kidney stone that has been working it's way. At least that's what we think it was. I ended up going in the day before to get some relief. Was switched from Flowmax to Rapaflow, and was given Pyridium. Doc wanted PSA even though I thought it was going to be elevated due to the severe pain I was in. I reluctantly agreed. Well it actually went down. :D
I discussed briefly my situation. Doc wants to redo PSA when things calm down again. He recognized I had lost weight. I told him " am basically a vegetarian but I do eat fish and white meat chicken and turkey. It's the diet that is recommended for people doing AS."
He replied... "There is no data to support that."
Of course this was last Thursday, and I just got the results today...
Well I am quite pleased with the results as I have only been on the diet for 7-8 months. I have lost 50 lbs and my PSA history is as follows.
8-7-09, 3.22
11-13-09, 4.25
12-6-10, 3.77. :D
I went from 210 to 160 even though my pesky sig will not update properly. lol
