HT with ED Therapy??

Hello Members:

Just started Hormone Therapy a few weeks ago and I was wondering if I should continue with penile therapy ( meds / pump) just to keep things moving.  Suggestions / recommendations gladly received with thanks.

Absolutely keep the penile therapy going! Even though you may have no interest in putting it to use, you will thank yourself later that you did it. If you don't keep doing therapy, atrophy is almost guaranteed to set in. Please, until you regain nocturnal erections, keep pumping.

Sure, keep it up. HT isn't the end of the road, just a detour for a while. In the meantime, you still go to keep the engine chugging along.

At least use your pump. I know your not motivated sometimes. Understand at this point you need to try to keep willie pumped with blood flow. Best of luck.

So in order to maintain and build my strength I will not only be pumpimg iron but pumping wood as well?  Have to keep a sense of humour.  Thanks for the advice.

Just my HT Update:

Started casodex more than four weeks ago.  Uro wanted me on it for two weeks prior to zoladex injection and two weeks after,  then stop.  It's been three weeks since my injection.  I feel like my old self now that I'm off of the casodex.  Still have felt no side effects and I hope that continues. Anyone in a similar situation?

Absolutely, presuming you want you want your best chance of being functional once this is all done. Realistically I know I'm pretty likely to wind up with an implant after partial nerve sparring and radiation, but I'm still doing the pump, pills, and injections in case there's a chance.
