Hi All,

A few days before Christmas my doctor's office reported another PSA of <.04.

A couple of "Woo-Hoo's" were said to be heard in Idaho tongue

Why are you testing every 6 months? You should be on annual tests by now and according to one study I read you actually could go to every 2 years.

  Great news Barry!!!   Yippppeeeeeee ~   and here’s a Woo~Hoo from North Carolina!!! Actually if you listen closely you’ll hear “3” of them… Our doctors must be on the same plan.   We’re testing every 6 months per our surgeon for the first 5 years and who knows… we may continue this after the 5-year mark.   Peace of mind is a great thing! Purg: I always read about your on-going Journey. Thanks for your strength and the best to you.

ChrisR: Great question. If you read my numbers I had two "blips" on the PSA radar, one in 6/'09 and one in 12/'09 so I went on the 6 month plan for awhile. I may keep doing so, like bluebird and her husband do, but my doctor does say I am really on the "annual plan." Just a personal choice. Thanks for asking.

Chris,  I agree with you about the instrument hiccups.  Where did you see the study about every-two-year testing?  I'm interested in looking at it.

Congrats on the good numbers. I have my first post-op blood draw for PSA this morning at 1030. I can't say I'm overly nervous, but I sure hope my numbers are as good as yours. Here's wishing you many years of similar results.
