Not good.

I will be seeing the Ford Team tomorrow.

I think it will be SRT time, but maybe they will go one more reading?

My guess is that they will go for at least one more reading.

Sorry to hear that. I was hoping you were wrong about the increases and it would go in the other direction. I hope the next round will be a sucess. Sadly, it seems that this happens all too often but forutunately you still have some big bullets to use.

Actually Mel...you knew it would be near this level anyway. So it really isn't a surprise by any means. You should be able to put things into perspective and approach the next step with confidence as you have already done all your research.

Mel, sorry as hell man. Really hope that they take their time and confirm the rise with another reading. If you are a poker player I'll see your 0.13 and raise you 3.9. LOL

Sorry to hear that.
Your situation makes a good case for the ultrasensitive reading.
If your lab only tested to <.1, you would have been blindsided by this.

Sorry about this result. I was hoping that you would stay well below 0.1.
The only silver lining in this situation was that you already have a plan - but I am very sure that you were not keen to ever use it.

Thanks for all the responses. I appreciate the support.

The next step will be to see what the Ford Team says about all of this. Frankly, I think it is time to officially call this a BCR. But part of me hopes/expects  they say not so fast and we go one more test. It seems most of the protocols I read about suggest a confirming PSA. Not sure when they do that (a week or 2 or a month or 2).

I'll have those answers in 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the weather here is crappy. Snowing all day (not much accumulation) and more tomorrow. It's a 2-2 1/2 hour drive.. Appointment scheduled for 2:00 PM.

Sorry about the news. I don't understand the wait. Are they not sure of the equipment?
Is there any benefit of waiting? Do they believe it will go down by itself?

They haven't said wait. I see them tomorrow. From what I've read there is a protocol. In fact, they might say wait until it hits 0.20 OR they might just do a confirming PSA within a month.

As much as I do NOT want to do SRT, I don't think I have a choice and waiting does not appear to be in my best interest. As it is, I'm sure it will take some time to get everything set up, in place.

So, even if they say do a confirming PSA, I'll try and set up the SRT to start almost immediately thereafter. I have an appointment on Wednesday.
