Trimix injection site swollen

Ok I know your supposed to get swelling after injection  smhair   but this is a different kind of swelling, like an injury type of swelling.  We decided to celebrate the Packers win over the Bears last night with an injection.  When I did the injection something just didn't feel right, it was extremely painful going in and the result was minimal.  I can only assume I missed my target and went too deep hitting the urethra maybe, I don't know. This morning I have an unusually swollen jr. it looks like a sprained ankle. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had that once in my left side. It felt like I hit something, so I pulled the needle out and tried again -- same problem. I forced it through but the needle actually bent a little bit! And it hurt like heck. It did work erection-wise but I was pretty sore at that spot for a few days. Next time I saw my uro I told him and he couldn't feel any permanent problem but told me if it doesn't go in easily at the 9 oclock position to move it to 10, or even 11. Next time I went to 10 oclock and it went in a lot easier. I'm thinking there may have been a little bit of scar tissue from some old infection there and I happened to hit it. The same as when you are digging a hole in the dirt and you hit a rock.

If you were celebrating the Packers victory, could you already have had a woody before you injected? ;)

As reachout says, I had something similar to that, only on one side. I passed the needle all the way out the other side of the cavity and into the center 'gristle' type tissue. That side was swollen for a few days, no permanent damage though.

I have had a similar situation on occaison.  It happens when I hesitate a little when injecting.  I find if I locate the spot and and inject quickly while pushing the syringe, I eliminate any bruising. Also, sometimes you get a dull needle.

I have never even felt the smallest amount of pain when injecting! I use 31guage 5/16" needles totally painless
