Bicalutimide is generic and should be available for very low cost. The Canada health system cannot realistically claim that this drug is driving costs higher. They can buy it for pennies. Avodart (dutasteride) may not be relevant. If Testosterone falls sufficiently then DHT is very unlikely to cause an issue. It will be low. It can be tested to be certain and those tests are also available commercially at your cost, if necessary. Again, not a significant burden, but most likely unnecessary. I make sure that my T is tested while on therapy and I think it will be supported by others here.

I was just reading some studies using High Dose brachytheraqpy as adjuvant and salvage with and following high risk and or failed surgery. Dr. A Martinez in Michigan was a contributor and has been a pioneer in the field of HDR.

As HDR provides a superior conformal method of dose delivery it can be better at avoiding problem areas than external beam or seeds. In your research it woud be wise to speak with a HDR specialist that has experience using HDR after surgery has failed.

I have never heard of this, could you post a link? In Brachytherapy, there are seeds implanted within the prostate, once the prostate is removed, where do the seeds go?
