Hey there guys- Haven't been keeping up with the forum as of late since I have been in recovery mode since 3/1, but I thought I'd share my good news now that things seemed to settle down. My path report came back with negative margins all the way around. Lymph nodes were all negative. Both nerve bundles spared. GREAT! The cancer was staged as a t2c up from t2b, same gleason score of 3+3. 9 days post surgery I had the catheter removed and I couldn't pee (back to the er that night). Second time catheter was in for 6 days and we removed it yesterday. Big improvement but still what I considered a weak flow. This morning tried it standing up and HALLELUJAH! the dam broke loose and it feels like my flow is about
20% better than preoperative. Man!
It's easy to dwell on these things and then your imagination tends to amplify. I'm hoping and expecting that the rest of this process will involve that magic ingredient of patience and work. Thanks for being there when I needed to look at others experience.
