I agree with John T 100%. My seeds were implanted ten months ago with no other followup procedures. The day I received my PC Dx, the sex drive dwindled down to almost zero. While on the three month shot of Lupron, the sex drive went down to zero but has since returned. Have never had any, zero, problems in getting an erection although since the seeds, dang little ejaculate is produced but I guess I shouldn't be too depressed about that since I will be turning 75 years of age this coming Winter. Truthfully, just a mere "horny" thought still gets things going quickly. With Brachytherapy, some guys experience almost no unfavorable side effects and some do experience a few more. Knowing the information that I have gained, I myself, would certainly go the Brachy way if I had the opportunity to do it all over again.

I had a combo of BT followed 2 months later by 25 treatments of IGRT. For 6 weeks after BT I had urinary burning, urgency and frequency and took flomax. No incontenence or bowel issues. about 3 weeks into the RT, I did experience fatigue. All of these SE's have either gone away or are very mild at this point. Your experiences so far sound pretty typical to to me.

I did experience a temporary lack of desire for several months after BT. This has gone away and erections have returned but not quite as hard as before. There is ejaculate but not as much as before. I can't say there was no effect, but Ed issues seem mild to me. Similar accounts have been reported by other BT patients on HW during the past year....don't know how you missed them.
