hi
i havnt posted anything in a long time but i do check in now and again . i just wanted to give a little hope to someone who is as worried as i was 5 years ago when my dad was diagnosed with pc. i taught he was going to die and i was full of anxiety . this forum helped me through a lot and educated me on such things as what to ask doctors ect. my dad psa is still a zero 5 years on . he had a t2c and a gleeson score of 8 . he had 7 weeks radiation after he had his prostate operation .he is on a hormone injection every 3 months for life and is as happy as anything . good luck and best wishes to all of you on your journey and thanks again for all the love and support along the way.

Great news Petal. And the better news is a recent report (on another fairly recent thread here) that indicates that the probablility of BCR is very low after the 5 year mark with such low PSA's. Time to celebrate!

Congratulations, Petal, and all the best to your Dad! It is encouraging to others to hear back from those who have survived PCa and are doing well. Five years is an important milestone. I hope to hit the 5-year cancer-free mark myself in a few months.
Take care......Tim
