Has anyone used the SomaTherepy-ED pump from Agusta Medical Systems. My Uro set me up with a sales rep and I'd like some info before I purchase one. Thanks in advance

Didn't you just have surgery around the beginning of this year...? Seems awfully fast, in general, to jump into a pump solution...

It's going on 3 months since I had surgery. My urologist thinks it's ok for the rehab part.

You can buy a pump on eBay for $35 and see how that works before you "invest" big bucks in a unit sold by a commission salesman..

I use the Augusta Response II. It was cover by my insurance and my part was $89. It works fine, no complaints. My doc said to start using it about three weeks after surgery.

osbon pump is excellent for therapy and sex, but 525 a unit. This is what medicare is charged, Believe much cheaper online. Very well made.

Logo, We hadn't thought about purchasing on line.  I'll keep that in mind as our insurance does not cover the pump.  Thank you!

I bought the battery operated "Oncore" pump for $100 and it works fine. They work similarly so why pay the extra bucks.

Three months is definitely time to start rehab.

The pumps generally work about the same. You might find some minor preferences - weight, cylinder shape, etc. Where the big difference lies is in the rings. It doesn't seem like it, but the brands can feel very different from each other. So, if it feels uncomfortable try other rings. There are also devices to help make them more comfortable.

If insurance pays for it, buy whatever you want. If you are paying for it, you do not need to prescription model (hint - there is usually no difference between the two except for a few additional pieces). All of the companies make good OTC Packages.

You can certainly start therapy with a sex shop model - even use it in the shower. For intercourse, you need the medical grade pumps.
But do talk to your doctor about a therapy regime. Until you regain nocturnal erections, you should generally pump at least once a day.

I'm lucky in that my insurance pays for it. I was told to pump as far as possible 3 times in a row every day. I'll see what happens after I get it. Hoping I can give it to my wife. devil lol

I guess if I leave the house carrying the pump, and my wife stays home ,I'll have some explaining to do to my wife. nono lol

Do be careful do not pump to a point of uncomfortableness My ed must be improving as it pumps up very quickly, with fewer pumps assisted by cialis. Consequently, I have bruising and some red speckles, indicative of tiny ruptures. I will abstain for a period to heal. Ergo, Ego, Logo, Nogo, lol
